Editor-In-Chief at Muse Media UW

Muse Media is the University of Washington’s first style publication. I am the current Editor-In-Chief and have previously worked as the Managing Editor.

As Editor-In-Chief, I provide critical feedback, manage all administrative needs, and oversee workflows for 50+ staff members across editorial, photography, design, and marketing teams.

Muse publishes an annual print magazine along with artist/trend spotlights and blogs. We also hold fundraising and community-building events in order to build relationships within the Seattle arts community and establish brand identity.

Beginnings of the FLOOD THE FEED campaign. Ideated by our creative director and organized by me, the objective of this campaign is to provide the Muse Instagram with a consistent level of activity during magazine production season.

Press Play, Get Crushed event campaign. Ideated, designed, and organized by me. The objective of the campaign was to foster interest for our Issue 07: Crush launch party. Editorial pieces were written by me & an editorial team member to highlight the event’s DJ and tattoo artist. Muse’s most successful social media campaign to date in terms of engagement.

Article spread in Issue 06: Taste. I wrote the article, provided creative direction for the accompanying photoshoot, and assisted in the ideation of design concepts.

Mesh UW is a collective of fashion designers and enthusiasts based at the University of Washington.

Mesh UW’s largest event is its annual fashion show, accompanied by a magazine that highlights designers and various artistic work.

As a member of the Magazine Team, I designed and wrote for two spreads for the NEOMORPHOSIS edition, using elements of storytelling to inform design choices.

Level Up Live is an airsoft shooting startup based in Seattle, WA.

The company hosts gaming events in Alahambra, CA, with new locations opening in Santa Monica, CA, and, Milan, OH.

As a digital media intern, I assisted in the creation of social media assets and promotional emails through designing and SEO in order to build interest in Level Up Live’s offerings.
